Our very clever and lovely webmaster Rick, had a little adventure out to Adele Island on his boat and rose early to capture the sound of the dawn chorus in the National Park.

I couldn't work out how to put it in my blog but if you go to our Birdsong Trust website you can listen to it. It is so so cool!!

Poor Monte got in a fight while out chasing girls and now he has a broken leg.
Teenagers, Monte and Kit and Monte is more trouble. so far anyway!

Rainy but beautiful in the Abel Tasman

Its very rainy in the Abel Tasman today but hooray it's going to be better tomorrow.
The kayaking is still gorgeous!
A good idea if the weather is unsettled and you don't like camping in the rain, is to stay on Chris's houseboat in the Anchorage.
He cooks a mean barbecue and hot shower is just what you need after a day on the water.
Definitely looks better for tomorrow.
